Rabbi Robert

Robert Sachs has worked with physicians, clinics, hospitals, hospices, private individuals and organizations teaching stress management and preventive health care. He is also the author of several books, including Tibetan Ayurveda: Health Secrets from The Roof of The World.

I am happy to call Bob my friend. We met while he was in New York, and I was thrilled to get the benefit of his wise counsel and intuitive insights. I became less concerned about the new, not-so-panicky me. I realized that I’d been my own healer over the last 57 years, that my dosha – or body constitution – was vatta at this stage of my life, meaning that I needed oil treatments to feel grounded, and that Robert and the astrological world had a plan for what I might do on my upcoming birthday. (More to come on all of the above…)

Along with his wife, Melanie, Robert runs Diamond Way Ayurveda, in San Luis Obispo, California. Robert sent me a package of goodies, including scented oils and bath salts. Then I headed up to Beverly, Massachusetts, for three days of spa treatments with Dawn Tardiff, who trained with Robert and Melanie.
