Why is it that every time I meet someone who exhibits kindness and a willingness to help me find peace, my eyes well up with tears?
According to Amy Elias Kornfeld, the radiant yoga teacher I just met, it’s because I am living in a “liminal space.”
What’s that? The term originates from the Latin word “limen,” meaning threshold. It’s an in-between place, a threshold between past and future. A place where boundaries dissolve a little and, on that threshold, we prepare ourselves to move across the limits of what we were into what we are to be. A place where enormous potential for growth exists. Hopefully.
